Holiday Spending Plan

Holiday Spending Plan

Holiday Spending Plan

Only a few weeks till Christmas and I know what you are thinking; I need a holiday spending plan.  If you are like most people you are thinking of time with family, friends and what gifts you are going to buy for everyone – so probably not. But really a holiday spending plan isn’t a bad idea.  I like the folks at My Money Coach —they always have lots of good ideas and suggestions about saving money, budget tips and how to manage debt.  I thought it would be a good idea to share a link to their site with some information on holiday spending and how to manage it so you don’t have that post holiday stress when the big credit card bill arrives.

I always like to make a list (check it twice- of course), set a budget and then look for gift ideas that are personal and hopefully a good fit for each person.  Sometimes the simplest gifts can be the most memorable and they don’t have to cost a lot of money.  Personally the gifts I have received with the personal touch always make a big impact that last past the holiday season.  If you start with your holiday spending plan now you will have the time to get some great ideas, set some money aside and make this holiday season a special one.

Enjoy!
